Serbian pilaf

Ingredients

60 g Rice, uncooked
20 g Margarine
50 g Pumkin, fresh
50 g Green peppers, fresh
50 g Bread
40 g Beef, fresh
30 g Onions, fresh
50 g Tomatoes, fresh
2 g Seasonings (herbs, salt, pepper)
50 g Bread

Cooking Instructions

Melt the margarine in a frying pan and fry the chopped onion. Add the beef (cut into bite-size pieces) and stir-fry until the meat is brown. Add the tomatoes, pumpkin, pepper and water and season with herbs, salt and pepper. Bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200°C. Pour the vegetables and meat mix into an oven-proof dish. Add the rice and water until the rice is covered with water. Cover and bake for about 30-45 minutes. Serve with bread.
