Preparation for 40 semolina cookies
Please note: Eat only 4 cookies per serving!
Preheat the oven to 375 F/190 °C. Beat the margarine with the sugar until light and fl uffy. Add the vanilla essence and mix the fl our, semolina and cardamom. Knead lightly to a tight dough. Make sure that the dough does not stick to your hands. Oil a baking sheet lightly or use greaseproof paper to line it. Divide dough into 40 small equal portions and fl atten a little with your palms. Place it on the baking sheet. Do this for all the cookies. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Take the cookies out when you see the sides browning slightly. They will still be soft but don‘t be disheartened.
