Ingredients

120 g Butter (salt free, room temperature)
75 g Sugar
45 ml Milk
24 g Corn flour
120 g White flour
24 g Apple or pineapple or papaya jam
2-3 drops Vanilla essence
250 ml Black tea

Preheat oven to 375 F/190 °C. Stir cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in vanilla, milk and corn fl our. Stir in fl our until it becomes a dough. Divide dough in 24 equal portions. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheet and make a shallow indentation with your thumb. Fill indentation with a bit of jam. Bake cookies for 12-13 minutes, until cookies just start to brown. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 24 cookies.
